Terms and Conditions

Workshop enrollment is limited to a maximum set out by the WSST at the announcement of each workshop. Reservations are accepted in the order in which they are received.  Waiting lists are formed in the order that requests are received once the workshop is SOLD OUT. This will be listed on the website (WSSTX.ORG)

A $100 deposit per workshop must accompany the signup to reserve a space.  Confirmation of enrollment will be sent upon receipt of the deposit (or full payment).  The deposit or full payment is non-transferable to any other person or workshop. Deposits will no longer be available 3 months prior to the workshop.

A transaction/processing fee is added if using PayPal, Credit Card or Debit Card Payment. To avoid processing fees, a check can be sent to the address provided on the registrations page.

Balance of payment is due two months before the workshop start date or when the workshop is full. A wait list will then be provided. An invoice via PayPal/Credit-Debit Card or check option to avoid processing fees will be provided via email. If payment is not received in a timely manner, the student may lose his/her place.

Workshop times, location, directions, artist’s outline and supply list are available on the WSST website.

Cancellation/Refund Policy

If for any reason you must cancel for the workshop once registered, the cancelling member shall contact the Workshop Coordinator as soon as possible to facilitate a replacement.  The WSST waiting list has first priority over other students who are not on the waiting list.

Upon a student’s cancellation of a workshop later than two months or 60 days prior to the start date of the workshop for domestic artists not traveling outside the US, the workshop fee is 100% refundable.

If the artist is traveling from overseas, the workshop cancellation is 100% refundable later than three months or 90 days prior to the start date of the workshop.

If payment is paid by PAYPAL, the refund will be minus the PayPal Fee.

Upon a student’s cancellation of a workshop within two months prior or 60 days for domestic artists and within three months or 90 days for international artists traveling outside the US) to the start date of the workshop, the entire fee is refundable (minus $100) only if the space is filled and paid for. 

Registration fees and payments are only 100% refundable in the time allotments above or cancellation only by the instructor. If the instructor decides to reschedule a workshop, the registration fee will be transferred without penalty to a future date (see below).

If there is a cancellation of the workshop and it is not rescheduled or changed by the WSST and/or Instructor, the workshop is fully refunded.

The WSST reserves the right to cancel workshops or even reschedule workshops for future dates due to insufficient enrollment or other unforeseen reasons or circumstances. 

If the workshop dates are changed or rescheduled, the WSST reserves the right to notify students and instructor of date changes without penalties or refunds. The WSST will do it’s best to reschedule the workshop. If a student still cannot attend a rescheduled workshop, the WSST will forward their registration to a future workshop by the WSST of their choice. Full refunds will be given if there are scheduling conflicts and will be determined on a case by case basis.

There are no refunds for no-shows, schedule changes, medical conditions, sicknesses, travel cancellations, flight delays or frank withdrawals. The WSST reserves the right to credit the student monies for other workshops based on these unforeseen circumstances on a case by case basis.

In the unlikely case the instructor does not show up for a scheduled workshop due to travel delays, sickness or unforeseen unusual circumstances and cannot teach the scheduled workshop, the WSST will reschedule the instructor to a later date without penalty to the WSST. The WSST will do its best to reschedule the workshop and same instructor to a later date without additional penalty to the student. Registrations fees will not be raised or adjusted for rescheduled workshops.
